Description of the route by the creator

Hello everyone, So our pilgrim arrived in Estella this evening. He covered some 28 km today without a care in the world. Still in great shape, no aching feet or legs! What's more, he still hasn't seen the rain as he walks. On the other hand, he hears it every night when he's in the gîte, and with the storm, it's the luck of the devil. He told me that some of his fellow walkers, who are a little slower, have had it along the way. He'd started out this morning 🎒🥾🥾 from a very small village, he'd found nothing to have lunch before taking his walk 😝. Not a problem, he set off on an empty stomach with nothing in it and walked! Around 7:30 this morning, he passed through a village where he had a really good breakfast with chocolate, toast, sandwiches, the works! And here we go again! He's seeing some great scenery and is very happy. He's even starting to get into the cultural side of things, as he told me he'd seen a beautiful church 💒 although, admittedly, churches aren't really his thing 😉 he stopped walking at around 3:30 pm when he arrived at today's stage, Estella. He's smart because, having arrived before the others, he always has hot water to shower in. What's more, at his level, he's following the latest advanced sporting precepts, since he starts by washing in hot water and then does a sort of cryogenic recovery... After the hot water, he finishes with an ice-cold shower. It relaxes the legs after long walks, he tells me! Afterwards, he treated himself to two beers: the first for thirst and the second for pleasure. He met a Frenchman and they ate together this evening. Apart from the wine he ordered, which was closer to vinegar than grape juice, everything's fine. But rest assured he had his glass changed for something drinkable!!!! He's looking forward to tomorrow's stage (towards Logroño) as he knows he'll be passing through a village where there are fountains for water and one for wine (???). He even said that Iñaki could talk about it... So if you can bring your lights Iñaki it's whenever you want!!!! Otherwise he kisses everyone and is off to sleep. La bizz and @+ [06:27, 02/06/2023] Muriel: So if I'm not mistaken it's today, along the way, at Irache (down on the map) that he'll meet his wine fountain!!!! It might be a bit steep the red from breakfast ....
